Constructed of silvered and gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a replacement crimped barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting an original round wire catch, maker marked P. MEYBAUER, BERLIN, measuring 42. 57
